Let’s Talk about Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD)

The MAiD program aims to prevent unnecessary suffering for individuals facing end of life. As BC looks to expand MAiD to include mental health diagnoses it is important for nurses to understand their role and limitations when working with patients considering or planning to access the MAiD program.
